A 1988 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Johnson is a second-generation veterinarian.

'Growing up with a father who was a veterinarian, I don't ever remember wanting to do anything else for a career,' says Dr. Johnson.  He has served as a board member and president of the Memphis/Shelby County Veterinary Medicine Association. He has also served as a board member and president of the PetMed Emergency Center.

He and his wife, Gina, have 2 grown children. He is an active member of Central Church. He enjoys woodworking, spending time in the Great Smoky Mountains, and being with his family. Dr. Johnson's veterinary interests include surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic) and internal medicine.
